Most creative directors grew up art-side. I didn't. Twenty years in, I'm still a writer at heart—which means I get to the idea faster, pressure-test it harder, and stay with it longer. I've steered work for big brands, scrappy teams, and every kind of stakeholder in between.
What I've learned: nobody does their best thinking in a tense room. I lead with levity—it's a strategy, not a personality quirk.

About Me
I grew up on the East Coast and never quite lost the edge—but twenty-plus years in the Pacific Northwest have made me a certified softie about mountains, rain, and a really good slice of pizza. It's a balance. I contain multitudes.
When I'm not crafting campaigns, I'm deep in the pop culture trenches: co-hosting The Final Girl and Guy, a horror movie podcast where my cohost and I bravely suffer through the genre's newest offerings so you don't have to (though honestly, you really should). I live in Shoreline, WA with my fiancée, two fantastic stepkids, and two cats who are fully convinced they run the household.
